The shape-shifters of Afton Hill could always rest peacefully in the small, coastal town in Maine. It was a haven among those who could never find peace to their 'unique' ability to shape-shift into an animal. Here, they could rest their souls and converse with others like them. Only one threat displayed significant danger to them: the Hunters. The Hunters were the human alliance, sworn killers and well-bred assasains who pledged themselves to the removal of shape-shifters. Shape-shifters feared these cunning, elusive terrors in their own home of Afton Hill, in which the Hunters skillfully inflitrated on a daily basis to take the lives of the innocent. It is an eternal battle between the two sides...a secret that screams to be heard...a world of natural selection, of wild adventures, and of restless memories: welcome to the world of Quiet Survival.

Weather: A slight breeze blows through the town every now and then, reminding the locals that fall is finally upon them. Leaves begin to brighten into yellow and orange hues adding to the rich scenery off the coast of Maine.

A large citadel holds in the middle of the towns square, home to the Family Leaders. Shifters are only allowed, but if you're a Hunter looking to get in...be careful what you wish for. Located in a cozy spot near Central Park, the small brick cottage could be easily mistaken for a house. Instead, it's a two-floor coffee shop with a small balcony and freshly served coffee to your liking. Moderators: Adamaris Jolstei, Bridget Chample, Oliver Hunt

Among the town's entertainment, Black Spider Casino proves to be included in the top 5. Dainty waitresses serve you free drinks as you risk your money - and possibly your life - gambling the night away. Long, rippled beaches create the border between land and water, placing both a romantic and dangerous setting for one to explore. The Port of Afton Hill certaintly hasn't been used in a while, usually only for supplies. Moderators: Adamaris Jolstei, Bridget Chample, Oliver Hunt
Some old, abandoned sewers now lie underground, just below the current working plumbing system. Hollow, dark, and with wide tunnels stretch below the entire Central Park. Watch your step...it's one of the most dangerous settings in all of A.H.
An old tavern that has remained active ever since Afton Hill was founded. Known to serve hard liquor - and hard liquor alone - the Green Pig has worked up a name for itself being the one place to see bar fights up close, and gamble with the dirtiest cheaters in the world. Conviently placed next to a book store and a coffee shop, the gallery is indeed worth your while to take a visit inside. A beautiful, clear lake lies near Afton Hill, giving peace to all those who visit it. Come for a good swim, or just a quiet visit alone or with a lover. Moderator: Adamaris Jolstei
An expanse of small mountain-like hills spills it's elevated trails just 13 miles north of Afton. Judging by it's look and the tales, it's a ferocious piece of land that shouldn't be underestimated. Moderator: Adamaris Jolstei
