The Basic Rules of Q.S.
Welcome to Q.S.! We hope you enjoy role-playing on our site; it's safe, exciting, and active. However, in order for it to be all of that we entice [and order] for you to follow the basic rules of Q.S.
.) No god-moding. This is where you play your character as an all-powerful being [staff and other important positioned characters have limited god-modding]. You will receive a warning if you are reported/seen doing this.
.) Only one character per username unless permission is granted from Admin. You can have multiple usernames, though. -- which means that you can have as many characters as you want. There is no maximum.
.) SIGN UP WITH YOUR CHARACTER NAME! That means no people with names like “cu-T pie2”, “s8tr_kid90”. The Admin will PM you with a request for a better name, if you ignore that PM your account will be deleted [we have this rule because new and older members will know which character belongs to who, so forth].
.) Do not create a character that is a blatant rip-off of another fictional character. This can be anything from books, to movies, to cartoons. Not only does it show a lack of originality, but it is also a breach of copyright laws.
.) There will be no derogatory comments to another person's character, roleplaying style, or ideas. Anyone who does will receive a warning [of course, in-character you can harass eachother all you want! OCC is strictly forbidden].
.) No killing of another’s character without permission from the owner of the character.
.) Take heed of other people’s posts, do not post completely irrelevant nonsense, please try and stick with the general theme of what is going on.
.) Any physical love making is allowed on the board. However, in the topic you must have [mature!] written in the subject area. It is not our fault if you "stumble" across it - if you read it, you did it on your own agenda.
.) Be sure to always seperate OCC from IC. If someone's character pisses you off in a roleplay, it does not mean you must hate each other out of character.
.) Once registered, you will not be able to post anywhere until you have posted a character description under the "Character Designs" board. You do not need to be accepted by staff to begin role-playing!
.) Please follow the chat-box rules: this goes for everyone!
.) No Mary-Sues or Gary-Sues. No one has a perfect character...he/she needs flaws to be believable. If you over-do it, you WILL recieve a warning.
.) Threads that have a [closed] or [c] at the end of it mean that no more can join than what it already has. Threads with an [open] or [o] mean that anyone can join who is willing.
.) Please do not RP with yourself and your seperate characters. They may make references to eachother, and only have LIMITED approaches/exposure to eachother - but they cannot fall in love, have kids together, or kill one and other.
.) There is a word minimum for each I.C. post you write - and that is 100 words. If your posts begin to show less, we will send you a warning and expect you to change it.
.) If you have any problems, queries, complaints etc feel free to PM any of the staff.
